About the Other DJs

Below is a list of our DJs who are of other varieties.  Don't be fooled, just because they don't focus on Rock, Pop or Hip-Hop, doesn't mean they don't know how to play good music!

Albert Pride (Jazz)
Albert is BlazeRadio's longest tenured DJ. A UAB Alumnus who's been here since the station's beggining, Albert provides listeners with some of the best Jazz music ever heard. "The Jazz Is Out There" is Albert's smooth show that airs every Sunday night from 6 - 8PM.
 

 
Keiah Shaku (Talk/Music)
Keiah is one of the newest DJs to BlazeRadio's roster, hosting her show Saturday afternoon's from 12 PM till 2, Keiah is bound to bring you food for thought to go along with the music to make you feel.
 

 
Tim Melton (DJ Stretch)
BlazeRadio's tallest DJ, DJ Stretch is a 6'9" junior at UAB majoring in communication broadcasting. Stretch was the host of "Wake Up UAB" last semester and hosts "The Meltdown" this current semester. A talk-style show which includes entertainment talk, sports talk, and Media reviews, among other discussions. Buddy Love
Buddy Love is a protege of DJ Stretch and appeared with his own segments on "Wake Up UAB" and "The Meltdown", Buddy is now ready to venture into his own territory and host his talk show, Thursday nights from 6 - 8 PM
